With some female celebrities admitting to be sensitive on the topic, what do male stars feel about getting asked about having a baby? Christian Bautista weighs in on entertaining pregnancy questions in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

Having been married for almost a year, Christian and his wife Kat Ramnani may also be at the receiving end of insistent questioning about having a baby and starting their own family.

He told GMANetwork.com, “It is a fair question to ask but be ready for that answer as well; don't expect an answer. It's okay to ask because everyone has the right to ask, but everyone also has the right not to answer.

“So wag mo ipu-push. Tanong mo lang, 'Ready? May baby na ba?' 'Wala pa.' 'Ah okay.' Then, stop. 'Wag na magdagdag, 'Bakit?' 'Ilang taon ka na?' You have every right also. Of course, the person will say 'I don't want to think about it right now.' So respect lang.”

According to the Kapuso artist, answering questions on pregnancy is something he and his wife discuss.

He said, “Yeah, it has to be an answer na you and your wife or you and your husband agree on. 'Ano ba sagot natin, wala pa? Next year ba? In two years ba?' And then kapag pinilit pa ng nagtatanong, sabihin mo na lang na, Please respect our own decisions.'”
